Capitalism is dead, long live Capitalism - Our years of Capitalism to consume are quickly coming to an end. A new Capitalism is coming forward. We are seeing focus on positive 'Impact' from Business. We will not support reckless companies that don't support our 'Regeneration Vision', we will invest in companies that do.

We aren't talking about the biggest change since the 3rd industrial revolution. How do we protect people from the impact of automation on working people. In the new world of 2020 we are in the 'Age of Workplace disruption' where we won't just face a loss of income, but a loss of meaning. We are facing a big change in work ethic from industrial, to curation and wellness.

The risk is if we don't change ranging from the creation of a global useless class to the rise of data colonialism and of digital dictatorships. We have CRISPR now, and we are see Dr. Craig Venter map the Human Gnome in 10 years, now he sees a a new computer capability to program changes via AKG code to individuals at human DNA level. In 2010 he announced that a team of his scientists had created a synthetic bacteria designed on a computer, with man-made DNA.

Germany now has removed the legal obligations to do everything (within reason) to end or reduce social dependency on the government. This comes from the Heart of the EU.

The possible penalties Hartz-IV benefit recipients can incur, for failing to comply with responsibilities to find work has been removed. The requirement has been removed on the basis of a violation of human dignity (‘Menschenwürde’). Recipients will receive 1120 EUR/month.

We will see this change take place across EU and spread out, and become the status quo.

The Impact of Specialist AI on the Workplace

Until there we understand what's happening inside the 'AI Black Box' this will be a hurdle to widespread adoption of specialised systems.

The neural network's are largely opaque and inscrutable. It is, in other words, a black box. And as these black boxes assume responsibility for more and more of our daily digital tasks, they are not only going to change our relationship to technology—they are going to change how we think about ourselves, our world, and our place within it - our meaning of life.

Coders will improve Specialised AI. It will be about 10 years till we see any General AI. So office managers will become managers of a functional analysts 'behaviorists' providing data, again and again, until the AI writes itself to do what the Office requires, however the team need to retrain the systems as the requirements change. Further there will be the need to have people interface with AI's. Think of them as augmentations (multipliers) of human capabilities. These 'AI Behaviourists' will need to maintain their AI models to implement new process requirements and regulatory requirements as the world changes.

This is an important article to review, and look at retrospectively as it quintessentially summarises the gulf we see today. There is a societal question that has not been answered. If you wait for it to be answered it will take 10 years. Consider how you can be agile and plan forwards for these new opportunities.

The AI tax

This isn't a thing, and doesn't exist but I can see as people are loosing their place in the workplace that governments tax companies on AI workers. This will be used to support 'Universal Basic Income' in each country.

If this doesn't work, what other way are social systems going to support society does not fall apart.

FANGS - The Established Platforms That Create GIG OPPORTUNITIES

Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google (Alphabet) and Shopify are the 2020 FANGS that are at the forefront of changing the way we work. As they continue to disrupt, and improving customer experiences. They don't see digital storage, and bandwidth as scarce resources but abundant so much so that a massive global online growth has been triggered. So, which of the FANGS will be able to survive the next decade? The questions are... who's innovating products and experiences and further creating secondary markets in the Gig-economy.

2020 is going to launch Global internet access (Starlink mega-constellation ~42,000 satellites strong, according to regulatory filings by the company. Following Tuesday's 28/01/2019 launch, SpaceX will have launched a total of 242). At some point the 3rd world will have full access to new goods and services via the internet. Payment services will come into focus as this will be needed to support Gig economy remuneration.

So, the focus In 2020 will become micro-task work vs. 'Learn to Earn'. Resources will focus their time on managing their tasks. Every millennial will need to master, time management.

Our Time, attention and our health are our 'Crown Jewels'. Managing our pay priorities around this is going to become a major factor in the future, you can literally work yourself to death and no-one would know.

So, how to do you discriminate on how you spend your time and on what work you want to do? This is more a question of what you want to investment your time into. So, what meets our individual values for the time in your life at which you will be working on these micro-tasks.

The idea is simple. These micro-tasks are not feasible long term opportunities as they are not regulated, and don't provide learning options to workers. So, the micro-task work have to support workers achieving their strategic objectives that matter to them. Gig work is short term work. People will focus on improving their health & well being (mental health).

Companies will move their workforce balance from Fixed cost workers towards Gig workers to reduce operating costs.

Workers will do micro-tasks as long as it's convenient for workers and as long as it helps them to achieve their longer term strategic goals. Micro-tasks', provide less admin, maximum flexibility and align to workers requirements and values.

Eventually all Gig-Economy work will become regulated and monitored to protect worker rights (minimum wage, maximum 48 hr work week, free from discrimination etc.) as to ensure there is clear enforcement by Governments protecting workers rights.

Global stabilisation & Forecast

The 2020 Global forecast for the next 24 months that growth outlook will be 3%.

Countries need to work together on Climate Change, productivity and technology to collaborate and effect change.

The work that's going to get affected first are 1. Administrative heavy, and 2. laborious tasks. The work that can't be automated will become Gig-Economy micro-tasks that will be specialised in.

Administration - HR (Human Resources)
Drivers - Trucks, Cars, Buses, Planes, Trains transporting goods & services.

Note: Anything that's routine can be done by an AI. AI will be a perfect every time at doing the work.

I anticipate that work replaced by AI will become taxed eventually and the income from the AI's will be used in Social care by Governments.

Jobs that are improving through AI changes

Farming - The automation of farms, means less humans on fields. It's going to be managed by an AI and will be overseen by 1 or a few people. Managing farms will make them more efficient, and consistent via data the AI's develop through machine learning.

Do you need one? I found getting started with my online site design difficult. I didn't find I was able to produce material to a standard that I was happy with. This prevented me from getting going. So, where do you start...

Whether you are publishing on YouTube, LinkedIn, WIX, SquareSpace, Webflow, WordPress or on Google Sites you will still require your own materials (images). I got stuck on the first hurdle - what are the correct sizes of the images required to for each platform. They all require images. Take for example your YouTube it has different sizes to let's say LinkedIn articles - so what do you do? How do you get a consistent brand across all the platforms... If you are having the same issue, then stay with me for a potential problem solver...

The fully online tool 'Canva' is a must Review item for your 'products to consider' list. I have been using it for a few years. I am not an expert, but it's part of my must have tools. Something like gmail for email.

If you don't know how to compose an image for social media from scratch or how to get your message across so that it's clear and precise? Not sure... I am not a Artist and I don't want to pay for Adobe PhotoShop as I do this very infrequently... If this is your situation then, have a look at Canva. It's a great platform that also works on your phone.

You start out by setting up a Professional Profile with Canva. There are two options. The free version, and the Pro version $10 pm. Canva creates images that look great! I went from Zero to Hero in about a 4 hours of using Canva confidently.

I cannot recommend Canva highly enough. So...

if you don't have a huge budget and need to get results quickly, then Go to Canva. You can stick to stick the the free stuff, but you can still make great looking materials, it just takes longer.

If you have a budget, and you can cover $10 pm then you are in for a treat. They have tons of items that you can use in your images, and plenty of templates.

Canva have been around a few years now, and it's a super simple platform to get going on for novices to produce High quality outputs. There are great features including designing your own brand, and in the Pro version you can do some basic Animation stuff.

Create your content as a Story

Your audience need a format to consume you in. You need to consider your style of delivering content, but here is a suggestion used on Google YouTube.

Think of your content as a sandwich. You need the two slices and some filling.

You as the story teller are only really interested in the filling, but without the slices there is no context, and derived value of the conflict. So, they are a unit of work that allows the audience to get it.

I have children. They make a lot of noise.

But, when I sit down an really listen and play back what they are 'Saying' it sound exactly like my wife, and I. They are just mirrors reflecting ourselves back at us. As the Greeks say "Fight fire, with fire!".

So if you don't like what they are saying or doing, then start by changing yourself and the example you set for them. Otherwise you are handing them your disabilities into their life and will be powerless to change it later on in life. Prepare them daily for the world around them.

Start by having a daily 'Coaching' session with them, about something they want, or is important to them. Start by asking them about what's important to them.

I was struck down one evening when we debated the benefits of Nuclear vs. PV's and my son came out against PV's and had a very compelling case against them. Well he had done his homework, and for the most part has inspired me to become a Digital Native and help build a better world for tomorrow.

My suggestion is to be the best version of yourself you can be. So imagine the best you and try become that person. Ok, but we are skipping a few steps.

You embody the best you you can be, so why don't you stop trying and just be that person. Quit playing snakes and ladders and just get to the end and just 'Be' the best version of you you can be... It's that simple.

You start by doing daily... Just start... Put yourself under a bit of pressure and just begin Doing stuff. It's like going to the gym. Everyone there already looks awesome... So why bother...

Get up, get dressed, and go to work. The more you do, the more you will learn. The more you learn, the clearer you will become. You will know what you need to do differently and so you can improve daily.

You will have a long list of "Can'ts" - put those aside and work with the "Can's" - I can do XXX, and will YYY. After doing these daily targets for a month, you will have a long list of "Can's" will increase. So you can do for yourself, that which you must! Make your best reality possible, and it will happen, one Day at a time. Just like compound interest.

Also commonly known as Cloud IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) is changing the classic data-centre, as innovation has lead to massive efficiency of cloud infrastructure.

While Amazon, and Google were building their platforms they ran into the problems of running their data-centres globally. They solved these global problems by adopting new paradigms in IT data-centre operations. They then asked how they could leverage their new infrastructure experience and sell it to diversify their service offerings. That lead to cloud services as we now know them. They have massively extended the internet, and it has transformed our world enabling the Gig economy we now know.

AWS accounts for most of Amazons income and is projected to continue to do so as Cloud computing is now becoming the new normal, and data-centres are dead weight on company margins.

Now IT Infrastructure management (this is moving towards the business) can focus on what matters most to the business and avoid undifferentiated IT work such as procurement, maintenance, forecasting and capacity planning. As cloud computing has grown in popularity, several different models and deployment strategies have emerged to help meet specific needs of different users.

So, not so very long from now it's going to be so simple to manage Cloud IaaS that very soon Cloud efficiencies will allow companies to use higher level services provided by MS & Amazon to abstract away from the infrastructure management, inf architecture, and inf scaling requirements and future accounting departments will manage.
